Great Travel Photography! 5 Tips for getting better images. This video is a first step towards getting better travel images. I go over just five tips for creating images that do your trip justice. Over the years I have found it useful to focus on these five things and not just on the grand landscape or piece of architecture. Getting the essence of a place you are visiting involves photographing in different ways.

Last picture was great! Thank you for these tips
The first black and white nailed it for me. Great photo Kirk!
Hi, will you consider buying the 100s in the near future? or do you already have it?
Hey kirk, how r u? Just checking in and look forward to your next video
Hi Kirk, I hope everything is OK with you and the family.
Great tips Kirk! Hey from the UK!
Great images. Loved the ones with the Fujifilm 70-300mm. Amazing for a super zoom.
100%…photographing in all weather gives images that are stunning. Sunshine everyday is boring. Keep up the great work.
You have beautiful colors in your pictures. Thank you for sharing your tips.
thanx Kirk for your beautiful images and your 5 travel photography tips. After viewing your video I gotta go out get some seafood …. lol
Beautiful images and some great advice Kirk, thank you.

Number 4, details is a big one for me. You are often "competing" with cell phone shooters that stand back with the built in wide angle to "get it all in", and they don't see the little bits and pieces that make up the scene. I love when reviewing photos from a multi person group to hear, "Wow, I didn't even see that." When shown some fragment of the overall subject.
Kirk these images were all great. My tip for travel photography. If itβs not a photography trip but a trip with the family, travel lite. On family vacations Iβll often take an X-T30, the 18-55, 23 F2 and call it a day. I always come back with great memories. All fits in a small shoulder bag.
Ken, always nice to listen to your thoughts on landscape photographyβ well received learned a lot even though Iβve been doing photography for a long time always nice to hear other people like yourself with your experience.
As you already know I was a wedding photographer for 54 years so didnβt do much landscaping itβs only now that Iβm retired, Iβm able to do and take pictures that I like to take, and I like your style. Thanks Kenπππ
Good to see you again Kirk, Iβm glad that you're doing great with your tours and workshops business.
thanks-total uunreal ~ see you later~;))
