This razor blade concept which u mentioned is correct, but I doubt the kindle's profitability, the entire year, the basic one's sold at 8000, during sale it is at 6500, so is Amazon making a loss of fuckin' 1500??
I doubt that. Moreover, I bought it at even a lower price of 5850 after card discount of 10% on 6500. I don't think Amazon will afford to sell a product with a loss of ~30%
Also, rarely you need to buy a kindle ebook, almost all the famous books are available online in Kindle format (EPUB/MOBI) and also in PDF format.
I think, this recurring expense shouldn't be counted.
