Who am I:
My name is Zach. Iβm a fourth-year medical student in Philadelphia. I make videos about medical school, studying, and growth. I love trying new things and often mess up. However, every time I screw up I usually learn something. Whatever I learn I post it either on YouTube or on my website π (
I write a weekly newsletter π ( linking the best things I read, watched, and listened to that week. Join the 4,000+ that read it every Sunday morning.

As a med student and anout to give my step 1 you have enlightened me with the utmost truth
Thanks for the motivation π
Your journey is inspiring, Zach. Itβs a reminder that success is built on persistence rather than fleeting motivation. By the way, have you heard about ResuBot? It seems to help streamline resume creation, which could save time for busy students.
For anyone looking to improve their resume while focusing on their studies, Resubot has some great tools for making the process simpler. Just something to keep in mind.
I used to think motivation was everything, but now I realize consistency is key. It's all about showing up every day.
I appreciate how you emphasize learning from mistakes. It's so easy to dwell on failures instead of using them as stepping stones.
This is such a refreshing perspective on motivation. I often find myself waiting for the 'right moment' to study, but I see now that just taking action is what really matters.

Motivation is not required to study , completing targets required to feel motivated πthank you inspiration for this required thing
thanks
thank u so much π
And this is the exact mindset that'd cause someone to leave their career.
Capitalism idolizes high achievers because a hard working attitude makes the most money. Don't work hard, work sustainably. And if you must always work hard, then at least find ways to make the work more enjoyable.

This video really is what I needed. I just graduated highschool this year and since I want to become a doctor, I started volunteer work at a hospital. I work from 6:45am to 3pm, which means I'm gone from 6am to 4pm. Afterwards I'm tired. However I should study for the medicine test you should write if you plan to study medicine in Germany. And I want to work out. Can be hard sometimes, especially since I also want to spend time with my family and friends, but since I have to get up at 5am each day, I have to be in bed by 10pm. Which gives me 6 hours a day to eat, spend time with my family and friends, study, workout and shower. 6 hours is not too bad π
Check out this video to recap the GI tract in less than 5 min! Perfect exam prep: https://youtu.be/iRQtjyhaBxo?feature=shared

Summary :
Dr. = Daily disciplined Routine
and 3:55
not me repeating the first 2 seconds of the video like a retard to psycho indoctrinate myself in lame way
Truly amazing video and message behind it
How did you say that motivation is irrelevant and how do you ensure that you yourself don't motivate other people?
Also re/no motivation – – it is very helpful to remember that motivation usually increases AFTER YOU START the task that you can't face doing…. That means that your worst few stale moments are when you are thinking of it with dread and tiredness… The solution? Whatever it takes mentally, at that moment you just need to be strong enough to BEGIN! Once you actually manage to get started the motivation thoughts increase and the hardest bit – – to BEGIN! – us over… That works well for me.
4:37 The whole video was so intellectual and meaning full but the lines you said here in these seconds felt so personal and on another level! π€π»β€οΈ

There is nothing more unhealthy and negligent of self-care than going through med school/nursing school/PA school etc, where you learn how to encourage others to be healthy and support their own self-care.
