  1. Imposible to sleep if the only thing I do is rocking the baby to sleep just to have him wake up the minute I put him in the crib. Also natural birth… I was going to give it a try but as soon as I felt those painful contractions there was no breathing technique that could lower the pain. I think no need to go through that unless you are one of the lucky ones that feel very little pain during contractions.

  2. hi! i created a channel with soothing white noise, to help soothe your little ones. i really really hope it helps. it's still a very small channel, and any support is appreciated so much 💘

  3. Been up for about 48 hours with a massive headache from not sleeping. My wife has been in pain for the last 9 days, so ive been taking charge of the whole thing. I can finally get some sleep. Shes gonna take an 8 hour shift for me. Im literally dying right now. Zzzzzz goodnight

  4. My baby is 2 months! When he is asleep at night. I am so tired but still awake! I will put away my phone, have a dark room and use my weighted blanket. He is pretty good at being put to sleep. I'm just struggling to fall asleep! Wish me luck!

  5. I just started my maternity leave a week ago. I'm currently 39 week pregnant with my second child. At night, during my free time, I'm working on a digital art project as a hobby before baby get here. I find that I've been going to bed at 1-2am when I work on the computer before bed. As before, when I was still working full-time, I was going to bed at 11pm. As soon, as you said, "blue light". You reminded me to grab my blue light glasses that I always forget to wear.

  6. Omg tip number #10 is everything to me. My family doesn’t understand but I’m glad to hear you mention it because it makes me feel less crazy lol. My house might be a mess but not my sleep space 😌
    Thank you for these tips!

  7. Hi Bridget
    Video idea 💡
I’m 25 weeks along and feeling pretty okay about labour, pain, tearing, pushing etc. But I’m terrified about still birth or that there’s something wrong with Bub when he arrives…ie a bad outcome. Any strategies to help with this? I feel like it’s so bad it’s going to affect my labour.

  8. Watching this video completely sleep deprived at 12:00am with a six week old – tip #1 put away and turn off screens😂 but should I finish the rest of the video first or?

  9. I just wanted to leave a comment here to let you know that your affirmation meditation videos got me through my labor and birth!! I breathed through all of my contractions while trusting my body and my baby was here before I knew it. Thank you so much for your time and effort into making all of your videos. Your YouTube channel was an essential tool that I used throughout my last trimester and labor. My labor only lasted 2 hours, it was unbelievable!! I believe it was because I ate 6 dates a day for the last 4-6 weeks of my pregnancy (I can’t remember when I started the dates) and I took Birth Prep pills from 36 weeks until birth. My baby was 6 days past his due date so I naturally induced (with my midwife’s OK) with midwives brew once in the morning and again 4 hours later to keep surges going since they slowed down before my second batch. Within an hour after taking the 2nd batch I was in labor and my baby was here in 2 hours! I was amazed on how fast it happened. Everything went way better than what I could’ve asked/prayed for. Again, I just wanted to share with you the role you played in my birth story even if it was over YouTube. Thank you so much! Keep up the great work 🖤✨

  10. My baby is 11 months old, she does not eat anything except breast feeding, due to this she has become very weak, please suggest something, what should I give to her whom she starts eating

  11. I found your videos around 36th week and it helped a lot during labour. With God’s Grace I was able to go unmedicated labour without epidural for my second son on February 5th 2022, I reached hospital at 3:30 am was 7 cm dilated and by 6:30 am I was 10cm and baby was born at 7:14 am. Thanks for your videos.
    And Praise God!

  12. Hi Bridgett ! Thank you for your videos ! I was curious if you had any info on missed miscarriage ? I feel like it’s not something really spoken about and now I don’t even know how long to wait until I should try a different route such as Cytotec or D & C.

  13. Hi Bridget, thank you for your videos, they are helping me a lot to get over my fear or labor and feel more empowered. Could you make a video about ECV? I still have a few weeks to go before my due date and my baby is still breech so I’m considering ECV to try and have a vaginal delivery. Thank you 🙂

  14. Hy i am from Austria and my mein language is German. Where do you put the Lanolin on the diapers or on the baby this part is to hard for me to understand corectly… Thank you 😘

  15. Just had my son yesterday.

A little off topic for this video but I had the easiest unmedicated hospital birth. Like I was literally chatting with the nurses at 9cm dilated and felt perfectly fine in part due to your breathing through labor techniques.

    Thanks so much, momma.

  16. Great video! Just had my second babe 3 weeks ago & I already do some of these & I definitely agree about the last tip. It makes SUCH a difference in how stressed or relaxed I am. Clean spaces with not too much clutter (toys) – especially the living room where my toddler plays most of the day/ make me so much more relaxed during the day.

  17. Great timing Bridget! My almost 6 month old is keeping us up at night🥱 and my day is definitely suffering!😩 Praying she does better soon… she’s outgrowing her bassinet & needs to get in her crib in a shared bedroom but I don’t want her keeping big sister awake at night. Help!

Note: yes a weighted blanket is helping my 5 year old! Got her a twin size one with unicorns at Target for $50. She loves it.

  18. What's your thoughts on dream feeds (is this what it's called?)? Meaning that I take sleeping baby and feed it right before I go to bed myself. Considering doing it with my second one (due in 8ish weeks) because I remember my first one would come right about when I was about to fall asleep and it was sooo exhausting😵‍💫

  19. Your videos prepared me so much for mom-hood! My post partum doula also suggested night time diapers as they are super absotbant and keep the baby dry. We do use those paired with EC which works wells!

Could you do a video on high lipase milk? I didn't know about lipase and thought that my bbay bottles were never clean enough and making the milk go "bad". It took nearly 7 months to figure it all out And SO much stress.

  20. Wish this video was out sooner, but this is exactly what we did & got used to our own schedule. Good to note: we as parents use the sound machine to fall asleep too, because our 1month old don’t sleep quietly 🤣 also, I don’t fall asleep so easily – I do a quick breathing technique and try to clear my mental chatter. I find this meditation works: https://youtu.be/2Co5D1i9vdM

    P/S: good luck future/current parents 💪🏻

  21. I've since learnt most of these things (baby is 5 months old) but wish I knew this beforehand. I never knew anything about pumping and now I'm exclusively pumping.
