also I forgot to mention that this tutorial is based off of the laptop version of iMovie, not the mobile, however there are many great tutorials out there that explain how to use iMovie on mobile!
(p.s. I've gotten a lot of comments about iMovie not working on PC. Unfortunately iMovie is only available on Mac/iPhone/iPad, so if you have a different operating system, iMovie isn't compatible. however, there are many different types of editing software available—iMovie is not your only option—don't worry if you don't have access to iMovie. One iMovie alternative is Movavi, which can be downloaded on PC. iMovie alternatives on mobile include splice, lomotif, videostar, and picsart. Hope that clears up questions!!)

Let me see how I can ask this question what is that technique that they use? For instance, I putting items away example putting the silverware into the drawer and this is not speeding up the video, but the items pop in real fast into the drawer hopefully I’m making sense.

Q: In iMovie, is there a quick way to swap a different version of a very long clip used extensively in my movie (e.g. lots of edits like splitting and detaching audio) that maintains all the edits? (The existing clip is the wrong resolution and I want to use the correct one I have).
