Bro, rich in content. Having to rewatch a few times. Thanks
Knocked it out of the park! Super informative.
So which are best for printing individual books for my family. I don't need multiple copies, just good quality for my family
Hands down the best video on self publishing I’ve watched! 🎊 🎉
What a great, high value video! Thanks so much!
What would Yoy say if better – shopify or your own personal website
KOBO is only for ebooks.
My format needs physical books, ink on paper.
I have ebooks on Kobo it's okay so far.
Excellent video!
thanks, you collected a good amount of information, great video, I agree that publishing on KDP is important but people needs to realize that amazon KDP is becoming a pay to win day by day, then if you do not pay for ads in kdp do not expect to many sales, and the biggest backside is that you will need to keep spending in ads to stay relevant, I started with shopify but then I switched to square space that allows me to put behind a paywall my audiobooks , books and graphic novels, then people just pay for the sub and they get access to all the content, in the other way for those who don't want a sub they can just buy digital or physical copies of my books, audiobooks and graphic novels and other derivative merchandise, at the end if you pay for ads will e to get people find your site and with he time that will add, while paying ads for kdp is a hassle that not all the times pay off, and the cost for square space can be lower than kdp ads, kdp adds can become costly because if someone just by curiosity click on your book that will cost you 50 cents without securing a sell, another hassle to keep in mind is all these companies change constantly their algorithms and term of services and those changes can impact you, kdp right now is not an easy market without spending in ads, unless you have a big social media fan base will be hard to get sales because kdp is over populated, and from my experience when people get in my online store, they normally buy what they came from and sometimes they look around and buy more than just 1 item, another important information I believe is worth to share is that because people just kill time in the internet but they are just scrolling in their phone screens trying to skip as many ads as possible, physical advertisement is getting to me good results, being creative is the key now, stickers are cheap and people like them, are easy to distribute and are giving me great results.
Goeie Video!
You’re the best, right to the point and v thorough. Ty, TNN
I'm having trouble replying to people.
I hire my formatter, editor and book cover designer through the Fiverr website.
Very informative . Thank you . Gonna check out Atticus
Ingramspark is the only option if your book is over 900 pages. So unfortunetely, im stuck
I don't want my stuff advetised.
I will ban anyone who suggests amazon.
Yes i would love to see that ❤
I suspect Barnes and Noble will fold soon. The brick and mortar stores are going away…poof. Their digital platform will either evaporate or be consumed by Amazon. I'm thinking of concentrating my efforts to Amazon, Apple, and Kobo.
I'm a noob. Video is great. Earned my subscription.
Does prowritingaid works also for French or only English?
I have read and heard that if we use KDP Amazon to do our print and demand, they retain our copyright and that we the authors cannot buy them at reduced price and also sell them ourselves. Is that correct or not? How does it actually work?
Dude! Sir! You killed on here, very thorough information and no annoying music…
Thank you! I’m working on a coffee table book with words / copy and beautiful travel photography! I have a kdp acct but don’t want to be solo amazon. Seems like Ingram spark should be the next addition
This video is exactly what I needed! Thank you
Any thoughts on Bookbaby?
I made no money off my Amazon books but I made sales
Thanks for the helpful video. I'm looking for a new publisher because I no longer want to be associated with Amazon due to the reported horrific way they exploit their labor.
who would you recommend for raunchy novels? Like shades of gray
Thank you – really helpful info
Thank you!
You sir, are a god.
I have self-published eight books. Most of my readers prefer paperback books.
This is awesome. U are quickly becoming one of my favorite youtubers. Im canadian and i dont think ive heard of kobo but im new to publishing and books in general. Most of my physical books ive bought from chapters indigo. Id have to research but the parent company ive heard of for sure.
I am in the market for either prowritingaid or autocrit. My manuscript is done and my goal is to humanize the ai generated texts. I value your insight and will wait for your signal. I am eagerly waiting for that comparison video!!
The video u did combining autocrit and chatgpt for adverbs was good. Too good in fact as it eliminates almost all adverbs that im forced to put some back lol. Thanks again Jason!
Do you know Xinxii?
Thank you so much for this much needed explanation man! To the people entering this world of finding a ghostwriter and publisher can be tough and there are some shady people out there. I was lucky to have my book written and published through a Houston, Texas based company Writers Of The West and that saved me a great amount of time and hassle!
Good stuff! Thanks!
I’m looking for a similar video, but for the best places to actually print my book as I won’t be selling digitally.
WARNING: Newman Springs Publishing is your typical vanity press scam. They don't care about you or your book. All they want is that publisher's fee that you should never agree to. Stay away from them.
I'm on Fiverr trying to get a formatter… if I want to self publish on ALL you suggested (Amazon KDP, Apple Books, Kobo B&N and Google Play), what programs format do I need to get from the person (on Fiverr)??? I'm SOOOOOOOOOO technically challenged it's scary. (I'm OLD)
amazon censors. fk 'em
Love Atticus one I use too
