Whether you are a man or a woman, the deep fat that builds up in your belly greatly increases your risk of insulin resistance. In fact, when scientists surgically removed 18% of the belly fat in obese mice, their insulin sensitivity improved, and their onset of diabetes was delayed. This is not a video on how to surgically remove belly fat, and we are not mice, but I do have a daily strategy that you can use to fight back against belly fat and insulin resistance. Best of all, you can start doing this today, using – eTRE, Apple Cider Vinegar, and Cheese.

  1. I'm so surprised that folk have an aversion to ACV and have to disguise it in some way to get it down! I can take it straight and undiluted if necessary and as far as having cheese late at night my mum said to avoid it as something heavy as cheese is would give nightmares. As a child I had vivid nightmares as it was so always avoided it then! She said it was very indigestible and would lie heavy in the stomach through the night. Is there any truth in that?

  2. I can imagine doing these if living alone. But I am married and dinner is our ritual for connecting and I will make us both unhappy if I insist on these limits. What would be an alternative method?

  3. just a note…I've bring drinking ACV and it ruined the enamel on my teeth…they are literally dissolving off…there are capsule versions of ACV…someone suggested them to me and I wished I listened…big dental bill coming…

  4. I like that you are honest and actively analyze and synthesize the studies / go science / and are practical in your advice. I do use Apple Cider Vinegar and confirm that this study works positively for me. Thank you for your work.

  5. I don’t have time during the day to eat a proper meal. I work on a busy construction job in the middle of nowhere. So I have no option but to eat in the evening.

  6. I think the only reason why the cheese worked with the insulin resistance is because of the apple cider vinegar……Because without it the sugar should be higher in the morning…….Years ago I read that their was only one food if you ate late at night would keep your sugar elevated all night and into the morning when you got up……That was dairy……Cheese is dairy.

  7. I must be one of few people that actually enjoy ACV. 😂 I also love Kombucha when it gets less sweet and a little more acidic. With ACV, I’m aware of the effect on my tooth enamel and try to dilute it with water or some other drink. Both ACV and Kombucha are so good for my gut, as I’ve had gut issues for years. I truly believe that our gut health affects so much of our general health. Thanks, Dr. Gillaspy!
